Tracey Friley is a Multicultural Familia contributor and the brain behind the Passport Party Project, a unique initiative aimed at making sure every girl will have the chance to receive their first passport.

From the Passport Party Project website;

Only 30% of Americans have a passport.  Crazy, isn’t it?

Frustrated by this statistic, Tracey Friley, Executive Director of OBG Adventure Camps and principal blogger at OneBrownGirl.com®, created the Passport Party Project, a travel-themed day time event that serves girls by providing each girl with her very first passport, a vital travel tool that helps give girls a world view.

10 girls x 10 Passport Parties = 100 new world views

The goal of Tracey’s project is to get passports into the hands of girls between the ages of 11-16.  Tracey hopes to gift 100 girls their passports in the first 18 months of the project.  Funds are raised through parties in different locales across the nation as well as through gifted donations.  The next party is scheduled for September 24th in Los Angeles, CA.

OBG Adventure Camps is hosting its next Passport Party in Los Angeles
