Latinos are the new American reality

I remember when this video made the rounds last year, it received a huge reception of applause in the Latino community. I mean, here I am, a year later, and I am still compelled to watch it. It’s never left my mind.

Honestly, I think this is a brilliant piece of advertising from Univision. Not only does it help motivate investors who may be leery about investing in Spanish media, but it’s also an empowering message for Latinos. WE ARE RISING.

Regardless of whether everyone is paying attention, Latinos are taking over the market and on average, they consume more media than any other demographic in the U.S. Our community is a social community and that’s evident in the products that Latinos use and their increasing might online and through digital media.
