WATCH: ‘Negro’ – Indiegogo Fundraiser
Please support ‘Negro: A Docuseries about Latino Identity’ in meeting its fundraising goal of $10K. After a year of self-funding with personal savings and donations from family, friends and supporters along the way, Honduras may be the last stop for the docu-series. I have traveled to Colombia, the Dominican Republic and Puerto Rico and would like to cover Panama, Peru, Brazil, Haiti and Cuba as well.
‘Negro’ pt. 1 is part of an exhibition at the Museum of Caguas in Puerto Rico and will be screened at the Leon H. Sullivan 2012 Africa Rising Summit in Equatorial Guinea, I will also be speaking on a panel ‘Ties that Bind: Artistic Expressions of Africa and the Diaspora.’
